Third Tomb Raider movie: Inspired by 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes'
In a recent interview of December 1st by Digital Spy, producer Graham King stated
"One of my favorite movies of this year was Planet of the Apes, the way they rebooted that franchise. I thought it was fantastic, and I took a lot away from that for Tomb Raider."They are taking Lara back to her roots, back before she was 'Lara Croft' while she is searching for her parents. Will Angelina be cast back to play the role? We can only hope.

Tomb Raider 9: Gameplay Demo
“We believe this really helps the tone of survival,” senior art director Brian Horton said. “Character performance is paramount on this project. We really want Lara to experience extremes in extreme situations.”Not only did the demo show how extreame this game will be, it showed the insane survival situations Lara will survive. The demo starts with Lara tied up, hanging upside down from a ceiling somewhere in a cave. Her only way to escape is by swinging herself to gain enough momentum and burn the ropes binding her. As you continue watching the gameplay you will see Lara is no longer indestructible. Lara is more "life-like" then she's ever been.
